Mission/Purpose:

The deacons shall be the Pastor's helpers according in secular matters as mentioned in the PAW minute book and according to Timothy 3:8-13.  The deacons will adhere to the GPT mission statement and goals of the church.

 

 

Duties:

 

• Be good Christian examples to the rest of the members.

• Be involved in the building of the body of Christ through the teaching ministry of the fellowship.

• Attend at least 3/4 of the meetings requested by the leadership for the deacons, which will be held the second Saturday of each month.

• Shall be united in and out of church and seek to maintain a spirit of unity and harmony within the church.

• As a collective body the deacons must support the Pastor and the administrative staff assigned to the deacons by the Pastor.

• Together the deacons will stimulate outreach within the life of the church.

• Must be present for church services and Sunday School and meet for prayer as requested.
